How to open this
What does it cost you?
There are no separate charges. What you pay each month is the price of the cover.
What if you stop paying?
If you stop paying in the HOSP Fund, you must wait 3 years or buy a house, whichever comes first. If you stop in the QI TPS Fund, you must wait 5 years.
What if you need the money early?
Ask the manager how quickly money comes back and what it costs. In the HOSP Fund, you cannot take money out until you redeem.
Who this suits
You want to save for a home through the HOSP Fund. Or you want to invest a large sum in fixed income through the QI TPS Fund.
You need the charges or the rate now. Or you want to invest less than KES 500 per month.
What they tell you
