Kibaba Unit Trust Funds
What the register tells you
An umbrella approved by the Capital Markets Authority. One or more funds sit inside it. The register does not say what they charge or what they pay.
Approved by the Capital Markets Authority
What it does not tell you
Approval covers the scheme, not the funds inside it. The register does not say which funds it holds, what any of them charges each year, or what any of them pays. We have not been to Kibaba Unit Trust Funds to find out, so nothing on this page is a judgement about them — good or bad.
Being on the register is worth knowing on its own: The Capital Markets Authority approved the scheme, so the umbrella is regulated and its manager is licensed. It is not a promise that the terms are good ones.
What to ask them
- · Which funds are in this scheme, and what does each one invest in?
- · What is the yearly management fee on the fund I would use?
- · What has that fund actually paid over the last year?
- · What is the smallest amount I can start with, and how fast can I withdraw?
