Listed as a deposit-taking SACCO by SASRA for 2026
What it does not tell you
The register does not say what it costs to join, what the society pays on savings or shares, or how quickly you can take your money out. We have not been to Chai Sacco Society Ltd to find out, so nothing on this page is a judgement about them — good or bad.
Being on the register is worth knowing on its own: SASRA supervises the society and its deposits fall under SASRA's rules. It is not a promise that the terms are good ones.
What to ask them
- · What do I pay to join, and how much share capital must I buy?
- · What is the smallest deposit you accept each month?
- · What did you pay on deposits and on shares last year?
- · How long must I wait, or give notice, before I can withdraw?
