What if you stop paying?

Your savings stay with the society. What happens next is set by its own rules, which it does not publish.

What if you need the money early?

Regular deposits can be withdrawn subject to the Society's notice requirements. Deposits held as loan guarantee cannot be withdrawn until the related loan is fully repaid. You get the rest back when you leave.

You want savings you cannot dip into easily, and the chance to borrow against them after six months.

Think twice if

You may need the money back soon. It is locked while you are a member, and regular deposits are subject to notice requirements.
